Available for preorder is this modernized high-end Stately Home Baker Capstan table reproduction. This is a classic mahogany dining table that was discontinued years ago but has continued to show great interest on our website therefore we have put this into production and it is now available for pre-order. This table will have a swirly mahogany field and straight grain leaves, similar to the original. We measured every detail of the original, therefore this reproduction table will be very accurate if compared to the original Stately homes Jupe table.  The table stands on 4 heavy saber legs each terminating in a polished brass foot cap, which is cast at our partner’s amazing manufacturing plant using lost wax casting.  Unlike the original Bake table, these leaves will be self-storing therefore you do not need a storage cabinet, they will stow inside the table. The apron, the column and the legs are fluted like the original table. The table is a near-perfect circular shape when closed in the everyday small configuration however it will not be a perfect round when opened. Typically, and in most cases, Jupe tables can be perfectly round in one of two configurations and this one will be perfectly round when closed.
