Only 1 Seam, Two PIece Dining Table, Built with Extraordinary Frame, Heavy

20-foot Custom mahogany dining room pedestal table. This 20-foot dark mahogany pedestal table was designed for a client’s client in Indiana (we built this table for a designer who in turn sold this table to a client). The inlays, colors, and sheen were all customized for this client’s tastes.  Samples were provided to get the client a true representation of color AND sheen. This table has a 30% sheen or a matt finish.  We can reproduce and repeat colors even though natural mahogany colors can vary greatly from fletch to fletch. Although mahogany tends to finish to redder tones, we add green pigments to knock out the red tones and the results lead to a rich, chocolate or espresso bean brown. This table is also unusual because it was manufactured using only two sections and therefore only one seam. This adds to the cost significantly because the table sections are 10 feet long each, and therefore the top is extra thick and the framing that supports this tabletop is excessive, heavy, thick, and very stable. The pedestals are overbuilt with steel-reinforced saber legs and solid brass feet and levelers.
